​Each quarter, our newsletter proudly Spotlights a team member, offering them the opportunity to share the roles they play here at Parents’ Place. For our Summer Spotlight, we are excited to feature Veronica Ochoa!
Hi, my name is Veronica Ochoa.

​I am the Bilingual Receptionist and Data Specialist here at Parents’ Place. I learned about the center through a friend whose child receives services here. She invited me to volunteer at the annual Christmas party, and that experience opened my eyes to the wonderful work this organization does. I was deeply impressed by the many services offered to families — providing not only education and resources but also hope and support to those raising children and young adults with special needs.
Having a nephew with special needs, I understand the value of this community support. It’s an honor to be part of a team that truly makes a difference.
As we enter the busy summer season, I’m looking forward to welcoming families, assisting with workshop registrations, and continuing to help connect our community to the support it needs.

Hola, mi nombre es Veronica Ochoa.
Soy la Recepcionista Bilingüe y Especialista en Datos aquí en Parents’ Place. Conocí el centro a través de una amiga cuyo hijo recibe servicios aquí. Ella me invitó a ser voluntaria en la fiesta anual de Navidad y esa experiencia me abrió los ojos al maravilloso trabajo que realiza esta organización. Me impresionaron profundamente los muchos servicios que se ofrecen a las familias — brindando no solo educación y recursos, sino también esperanza y apoyo a quienes crían a niños y jóvenes adultos con necesidades especiales.
Tener un sobrino con necesidades especiales me ha permitido entender personalmente el valor de este tipo de apoyo comunitario. Es un honor ser parte de un equipo que realmente marca la diferencia.
Al comenzar la ajetreada temporada de verano, espero dar la bienvenida a las familias, ayudar con las inscripciones a los talleres y seguir conectando a nuestra comunidad con los apoyos que necesita.
