Volunteers are the key component that allows us to fulfill the
Parents’ Place mission. Currently we have 500 valued volunteers
that assist through out the year with events and activities.
Volunteers are valued and welcome to utilize their skills and
talents year around.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Clerical Support/Data Entry – Assist with a variety of tasks
in the office.
Community Outreach – Provide community awareness by phone,
mailing packages,
e-mail.
Events – Assist (variety of assignments) staff with events
throughout the year such as Open House, Family Potlucks, Transition
& Birth – Three Conference, Workshops, etc.
Fundraising/Donations – Assist staff with coordinating
fundraising events and donations.
Information Fair & Festival – This is a one day event in
April at Cortez Park in the City of West Covina. A day for families
and professionals to gather information from community agencies and
enjoy festivities. (Preparation starts in February)
Parent – to – Parent Support – Interest in assisting parents
obtain Parents’ Place Information and Services.
Special Projects – Assist staff with mailings, assemble
parent “Easy Access Binders”, etc.
Resource Volunteer – Update community agency information,
order and re-order informational materials, pamphlets, etc. to keep
all information current in our resource center.
